Every seller on AgriMarket is approved for the Selling capability before they can list products. Verification is a separate, additional check — here is how each works and what the badges mean.
The Approval Process
Step 01
Submit application
Complete the seller application form with your business details, product categories and contact information.
Step 02
Provide business details
Tell us about your business — the products you sell, your location and how buyers can reach you.
Step 03
Application review
Our team reviews your application to confirm the information is accurate and your products are a good fit for the marketplace.
Step 04
Review (2–5 business days)
Applications are reviewed within 2–5 business days. You'll receive an email with the outcome and any additional requirements.
Step 05
Approved Seller
Once your Selling capability is approved you can list products, and your storefront carries the Approved Seller badge. Approval is permission to trade on AgriMarket; it is not an identity check.

Who Can Sell
Requirements and restrictions for marketplace sellers.
Active farm or production facility in Nigeria
Products listed must match actual production capacity
Accurate pricing and availability information
Responsive to buyer enquiries (within 24 hours)
Compliance with Nigerian food safety and agricultural regulations
Resellers of imported goods (unless clearly disclosed)
Products on the Prohibited Products list
Sellers with active fraud or misrepresentation complaints
