Zero Tolerance Policy
Listing prohibited products on AgriMarket will result in immediate removal of the listing and suspension or permanent ban of the seller account. We may report violations to relevant Nigerian authorities including NAFDAC, the Nigerian Customs Service and law enforcement.
The following products and categories are prohibited on AgriMarket. This list is not exhaustive — any product that violates Nigerian law, poses a risk to public health or safety, or is misrepresented is prohibited. If you are unsure whether a product is permitted, contact us before listing.
Illegal & Stolen Goods
Stolen livestock or farm produce
Products obtained through fraud or deception
Goods with falsified certificates of origin
Protected Wildlife
Species listed under CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species)
Protected Nigerian wildlife under the Endangered Species Act
Bush meat from protected species
Ivory, rhino horn or other protected animal parts
Unsafe or Adulterated Products
Food products that fail Nigerian food safety standards (NAFDAC)
Adulterated palm oil, honey or other products
Expired or spoiled goods listed as fresh
Pesticides or agrochemicals not registered with NAFDAC
Counterfeit seeds or farm inputs
Misrepresented Products
Products listed under a false category or species
Live animals listed with false breed, weight or age
Imported goods listed as locally produced
Products with falsified quality certifications
Regulated Products (Require Special Approval)
Veterinary medicines and controlled substances
Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) without regulatory approval
Products requiring NAFDAC registration not yet obtained
Livestock requiring movement permits not yet secured
Other Prohibited Items
Human remains or body parts
Weapons, ammunition or explosives
Illegal drugs or controlled substances
Products that violate any applicable Nigerian law
