AgriRewards Programme Terms

1. Programme overview

The AgriRewards programme ("Programme") is operated by AgriMarket NG ("we", "us", "AgriMarket"). It allows registered users ("Participants") to earn AgriPoints by referring new users to the platform and to redeem those points through the redemption methods AgriMarket makes available from time to time. Participation is subject to these terms and all applicable Nigerian laws.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be a registered, verified AgriMarket NG user aged 18 or over.
  • Your account must be in good standing (not suspended or under investigation).
  • Employees and contractors of AgriMarket NG are not eligible to participate.
  • One account per person. Duplicate or fraudulent accounts will be disqualified.

3. Earning AgriPoints

Points are awarded when a person you referred ("Referred User") completes a qualifying action as defined by the active campaign at the time of referral. Current qualifying actions include:

  • Buyer referral: Referred User completes their first paid order on AgriMarket NG.
  • Seller referral: Referred User's seller account is approved and their first listing is published.
  • Logistics referral: Referred User's logistics provider profile is approved.
  • Directory referral: Referred User's business directory listing is approved.

The number of points awarded per referral is set by the active campaign and is displayed on the Refer & Earn page. Point values are snapshotted at the time of campaign creation and will not change for existing campaigns.

4. Point valuation

1 AgriPoint = ₦1 (100 kobo). 100 AgriPoints = ₦100. 1,000 AgriPoints = ₦1,000. This conversion rate applies to all redemptions under the current programme version. AgriMarket reserves the right to change the conversion rate for future campaigns with 30 days' notice. Existing earned points are not affected by rate changes.

5. Referral attribution

  • Attribution is determined server-side at the time of registration. The referral code or link must be used during the sign-up flow.
  • Each new user can only be attributed to one referrer. First valid attribution wins.
  • Self-referral (referring yourself or a household member using the same device, IP, or payment method) is prohibited and will result in disqualification and potential account suspension.
  • Referrals made through paid advertising, spam, or misleading representations are prohibited.

6. Redemption

Points may be redeemed through the methods enabled at the time of your request:

  • Bank withdrawal: Where enabled, transferred to a Nigerian bank account (NUBAN). Minimum and maximum amounts, and any processing fee, are those shown on your Rewards page at the time of your request.

No redemption method is available unless AgriMarket has enabled it. AgriMarket may introduce, suspend or withdraw a redemption method at any time; the methods currently open to you are the ones shown on your Rewards page.

Redemptions are processed manually within 1–3 business days. AgriMarket reserves the right to request identity verification before processing any redemption. Points reserved for a pending redemption are not available for other redemptions.

7. Point expiry

AgriPoints expire 12 months after they are credited if not redeemed. AgriMarket will send a reminder email 30 days before expiry. Expired points cannot be reinstated.

8. Fraud and abuse

AgriMarket employs automated and manual fraud detection. Any attempt to manipulate the Programme through fake accounts, bots, bulk referrals, or other fraudulent means will result in immediate disqualification, forfeiture of all points, and may result in permanent account suspension. AgriMarket's determination of fraud is final.

9. Programme changes and termination

AgriMarket reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Programme at any time with reasonable notice. In the event of termination, Participants will have 30 days to redeem any available points. Points cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash outside the Programme.

10. Tax

Participants are responsible for any tax obligations arising from rewards received. AgriMarket does not provide tax advice. Redemptions above applicable thresholds may be subject to withholding tax in accordance with Nigerian tax law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
