Your Safety Matters

Buyer Protection

We've built safeguards into every step of the buying process so you can purchase with confidence from approved Nigerian farms.

How We Protect You

Approved Sellers Only

Every seller on AgriMarket NG is reviewed and approved by our team before receiving an approved seller status. You can see a seller's status on their profile.

Price Confirmation Before Payment

You never pay before the seller confirms the price, availability and delivery terms. For Quote Requests and Wholesale Enquiries, the seller sends a formal quote that you must accept before any payment is requested.

Dispute Resolution

If goods don't match the listing, are damaged, or don't arrive, raise a dispute within 72 hours of the expected delivery date. Our team investigates and mediates between you and the seller.

Direct Communication

Every order has a built-in messaging thread between you and the seller. All communications are logged. For live animals, sellers can send photos and videos of the specific animals before you commit.

Tips for Safe Buying

Follow these practices to get the best experience.

Always place your order through the platform — WhatsApp-only orders have no dispute protection.

Read the product listing carefully, especially for live animals (breed, weight, age, sex).

Confirm delivery fees and timeline before paying.

For live animals, ask the seller for photos or a video call before committing.

Inspect goods immediately on arrival and raise any issues within 72 hours.

Keep all communications in the order messaging thread, not just WhatsApp.

What's Not Covered

Buyer protection has limits. Please read these carefully.

Goods inspected and accepted at farm pickup — no returns after acceptance

Live animals once they leave the seller's farm (unless misrepresented)

Damage caused by buyer-arranged transport

Orders placed entirely outside the platform (WhatsApp-only, no order record)

Disputes raised more than 72 hours after confirmed delivery

Perishable goods where cold-chain failure is caused by buyer's logistics
